About Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World
"Asha, the warrior protagonist of the game, is involved in a serious incident that will affect the survival of her world. Our green-haired heroine doesn’t have to save the world all alone, and sets off on an adventure with her cute flying friend, the blue Pepelogoo. Asha and the Pepelogoo have to work together to become the heroes the world needs them to be. Together they must free the four spirits confined by evil forces whose origin they discover throughout their journey. While the story remains true to the original 1994 game it is a full remake of Monster World IV, with cell-shaded 3D graphics and 2D gameplay that stays close to the beloved original, including enhanced visuals and refined play content. The Wonder Boy series In recent years, the remakes and sequels of Wonder Boy have become smash hits around the world. Several hundred thousand happy fans celebrated the return of Wonder Boy after the series was dormant for many years. The successful series dates back to 1986 when the first game Wonder Boy was released. In the fast-paced platformer, the caveboy Tom-Tom sets out to rescue his girlfriend Tina from the evil demon. Wonder Boy started off in the arcades back then."
