Their newest action packed shooter is an atmospheric roguelike where players run head first into the unknown, fighting monsters, and meeting mysterious allies along the way. The Foglands is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR 2 and Meta Quest 2. The game is both playable as a first person shooter and in VR mode for PlayStation 5.
ABOUT THE GAME
The Foglands is filled to the brim with action packed roguelike shooter gameplay elements. Players are tasked with exploring what lurks in the dangerous depths of a deadly fog in an effort to resolve a conflict that threatens their home. Every run will have players punching, throwing, and shooting their way through waves of enemies and bosses to survive.
FROM OUT OF THE FOG
“The concept of The Foglands was born before the studio’s conception as a college project produced in by a group of students who would later become the company's co-founders. After years of steady growth as a studio, we finally lucked out with an opportunity to revisit the passion project that brought us together all those years ago.” - Derek O'Dell, COO of Well Told Entertainment.
Project development slowed down after graduation, and the various members of the original team went their separate ways until recently when they finally had an opportunity to revisit their passion project once more as a game studio.
