The First Descendant Teases More Action to Come at Gamescom 2022

SEOUL, South Korea (August 8, 2022)— Today, NEXON released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming third-person co-operative action RPG shooter, The First Descendant. With fresh gameplay and outstanding Unreal Engine 5 graphics on display developed by NEXON Games, the latest teaser gives gamers a mouthwatering taste of the action-packed trailer to be revealed later this month at Gamescom 2022. 

Previously revealed under its codename “Project Magnum” in an official Sony trailer (which received over 2.1M views), The First Descendant is a free-to-play co-operative looter-shooter featuring high-quality graphics built in Unreal Engine 5. You play as a Descendant with mysterious inherited powers and fight to protect humanity against alien invaders. The gameplay includes strategic boss fights with 4-player tactics, grappling hooks, unique character abilities, gripping gunplay, and tons of looting. After clearing missions and defeating enormous bosses, players can unlock powerful new characters, equipment, and upgrades. 

NEXON is looking forward to sharing more of The First Descendant at Gamescom Online this August— and for players itching to get a hands-on look at the looter-shooter, beta sign-ups are available now on the game’s Steam Page. The PC closed-beta is slated to kick off this Autumn.
