Dead Cells gets nine more officially supported languages!

And a scarf...

BORDEAUX, France (June 6, 2018) — Today Dead Cells moves closer to full release with the official support of these additional languages in the Babel Update:

  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Japanese
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Turkish
  • Korean
  • Traditional Chinese

We’ve also added a few cosmetic updates that have been waiting to be integrated. New skins for all of the bows, some balloons on a turret and of course a lovely scarf for our headless hero. Check out the details here: https://dead-cells.com/patchnotes/8

We now support the complete Discord Rich Presence in the game too, so you’ll be able to see where your friends are up to when they’re hanging around on the official server over here: http://discord.gg/deadcells

The game is currently on sale at -33% with a bunch of other great indie titles in the “Not a Metroidvania Bundle” right over here: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/7135/Not_a_Metroidvania/

Dead Cells is currently available in Early Access on Steam and GOG.com for $19.99 USD. A full launch is planned for PC, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in August 2018.

About Dead Cells:

Dead Cells is a Roguevania action-platformer, allowing you to explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle… assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers. To finish the game, you’ll have to master fluid, fast-paced combat with the ever-present threat of permadeath looming. No checkpoints. Kill, die, learn, repeat. https://dead-cells.com/

About Motion Twin:

Motion Twin is an anarcho-syndical (seriously) workers cooperative that’s been making games in France since 2001. No boss, equal pay, equal say. It’s an experiment and an experience! http://www.motion-twin.com/
