Ancient Frontier

Ancient Frontier launches today on Steam

Posted September 21, 2017

Decorah, Iowa , September 21, 2017 - The developers at Fair Weather Studios are thrilled to release Ancient Frontier today, a follow-up title in the same narrative universe as their initial release Bladestar.

The stage set in Bladestar, playing as a ‘Federation’ fighter-pilot with a sole mission to protect the free-people of the universe’s borders, and can be continued in Ancient Frontier. Conversely, players can now choose a new Alliance-centered story mode that sees them struggle for the cause of order at any cost. Do you continue your battle of fighting for freedom with the Federation? Or will you fight for the establishment of order with the Alliance? Either way you slice it, Ancient Frontier will provide the high flying, blood pumping space-combat you’ve come to expect from the experts at Fair Weather Studios.

Ancient Frontier is now available on Steam for Windows for $25.00.

Story

For seventeen years the Frontier has been at peace. Alliance colonists and miners live under the far-flung rule of Mars and the Federation, but the specter of war is rising again. Corporations actively war against each other, Raiders pillage and burn easy targets, and the Federation seeks to instill law and order in the midst of it all. Take fate’s reigns as a key player in this universal struggle to alter the balance of the uncharted frontier and the people who seek to make space’s border home. Set in the same narrative as Fair Weather Studio's previous title Bladestar, player’s will engage in galactic conflict staged in the distant frontiers of space, far from the comforts of the core home systems.
